Through the interview process, I learned about Shunshun’s life which includes loving pop music and traveling from Shanghai to US to pursue Graphic Design and was previously a Fashion design major. From there I incorporated materials of crochet and sewing projects as the background of both book panels. I also added tape and stitch designs to pull everything together. I added some music notes drawing the eyes towards the other side of the page as well. The second panel is a map of her journey from Shanghai to US.
